Foundation Scriptures:
And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the fields; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly. 6 And concerning the children of Israel and Judah, that dwelt in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of holy things which were consecrated unto the Lord their God, and laid them by heaps. 7 In
the third month they began to lay the foundation of the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month. 8 And when Hezekiah and the princes came and saw the heaps, they blessed the Lord, and his people Israel. 9 Then Hezekiah questioned with the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps. 10 And Azariah the chief priest of the house of Zadok answered him, and said, Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the Lord, we have had enough to eat, and have left plenty: for the Lord hath blessed his people; and that which is left is this great store
. 2 Chronicles 31:5-10 KJV

1. Five Months of Harvest.
a. For a period of five months, the people continued to reap their harvests and bring their offerings to the house of God.
b. There was plenty to eat, and more than enough left over, so they began to gather it in heaps.
c. Leviticus 26:3-4 AMPC — If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments and do them, 4 I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase and the trees of the field yield their fruit.
d. The promise of God to those who love, serve, and obey Him, is that He will bless them abundantly.
e. We may work hard to earn a living and make money to live, but there are many situations that affect our ability to prosper, that are out of our control.
f. When we honor God in our tithes and offerings, He promises that He will work on our behalf.
g. He promised seasonal rain—not too much, or too little—but the right amount, at the right time.
h. He promises to cause all the things that are out of our control, to be favorable toward us, so that we may prosper and increase.

2. Continual Harvest.
a. Leviticus 26:5 AMPC — And your threshing [time] shall reach to the vintage and the vintage [time] shall reach to the sowing time, and you shall eat your bread to the full and dwell in your land securely.
b. As soon as the grain was reaped, they began to thresh it.
c. Usually, the grain harvest continued for a whole month, or more.
d. After that, the vintage began and continued for about two months, until the early rain came.
e. This rain prepared the ground for the next sowing of the seed.
f. Because of the blessing of God, their crops were so abundant that the threshing continued until the vintage (the grape harvest) began.
g. The Lord promises that we will still be bringing in one harvest when the next one is ready to be reaped.
h. God promises to so bless us, that we will never be short of the resources needed.
i. We will pay all our bills, be able to meet every need, and still have money left over by the time we receive our next income check.
j. When the scripture says that “You shall eat your bread to the full,” this intimates that we should have, not only abundance, but contentment and satisfaction as well.

3. Protection.
a. Leviticus 26:6 AMPC — I will give peace in the land; you shall lie down and none shall fill you with dread or make you afraid; and I will clear ferocious (wild) beasts out of the land, and no sword shall go through your land.
b. The Lord promises to protect us from destruction and the devourer—anything that kills, steals, or destroys.
c. He promises to protect us from any attacks that come against us to rob us of our lives, our homes, our business, and/or possessions.
d. Leviticus 26:7-8 AMPC — And you shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword. 8 Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight; your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
e. We will have victory over any enemy that tries to come against us.
f. No matter the size or scope of the problems and attacks that come our way, we are well able to meet and overcome them, with the Lord on our side.

4. Favor.
a. Leviticus 26:9 AMPC — For I will be leaning toward you with favor and regard for you, rendering you fruitful, multiplying you, and establishing and ratifying My covenant with you.
b. The Lord promises to turn toward us with kindness—to lean toward us with favor and regard.
c. He will cause us to increase, multiply, and be fruitful.
d. And He promises to be eternally faithful to the covenant He has made with us.
e. As long as we serve Him, He will never cease to bless and provide for us.

5. Abundant Supply.
a. Leviticus 26:10 AMPC — And you shall eat the [abundant] old store of produce long kept, and clear out the old [to make room] for the new.
b. The Lord promises that we will have such an abundant supply that we will have to give away what we have of the previous harvest to make room for the new harvest of blessings.
