Sowing in the Time of Famine

As promised at the last day of your Revival meetings in Cape Town, December 1998. I am sending you the testimony of our son and his wife's 100-fold harvest in the form of a BRIDE TO BE  prize.

In February 1998, we attended Rodney Howard-Browne's Revival meetings at the Light House Christian Centre in Cape Town. Pastor Rodney shared from Genesis 26, where Isaac sowed in the time of famine and God blessed him one hundred-fold in the same year. Rodney then challenged us to take a step of faith and to sow financially into our time of famine.

We both decided to sow what we had in our wallets with the thought that we were getting married in a few months time and would be in need of finances. A few weeks later we put our names down at a Bridal Fair exhibition with our wedding dates and commented to each other that the prize was approximately one hundred-fold of what we had sown.

In March, we received a telephone call to say that we had won the prize!! We received the following: a wedding cake; a BMW for the wedding day; pre-wedding photography; hair styling; his and hers wedding bands; a weekend at the V & A Hotel at the Waterfront; a personally designed wedding dress.

We thank God for blessing us more than a hundred-fold and highly recommend sowing in the time of famine!
