Thrusting Out Laborers

In 1987, when the Lord opened the door for us to come to the United States of America, He told us to stir up the churches, to get them on fire for God, so they would be stirred to win the lost.

God is always calling the church back to their first love. Revelation 2:4 AMP says, “But I have this [one charge to make] against you: that you have left (abandoned) the love that you had at first [you have deserted Me, your first love].” Jesus paid, on our behalf, the highest price a person can pay—the laying down of His own life. If we desire to take advantage of all His sacrifice bought and paid for, then we owe it to Him to be faithful only to Him—for Him to remain our first love. Only then, will we fulfill God’s wonderful plan for our life.

I know your [record of] works and what you are doing; you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were cold or hot! 16 So, because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of My mouth! 17 For you say, I am rich; I have prospered and grown wealthy, and I am in need of nothing; and you do not realize and understand that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.  Revelation 3:15-17 AMP

There is only one temperature that pleases God— hot! If we are anything else—cold or lukewarm—we are falling short of all the wonderful plans God has for our life. God says He would rather have you cold than lukewarm, because lukewarmness is a state of deception. At least if you’re cold, you know you are cold. If you are lukewarm, you only think you are okay! It is a state of pride and God hates pride! Even food is better hot or cold—lukewarm food tastes terrible. No wonder God says He will spew lukewarm believers out of His mouth!

Then He said to His disciples, The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 So pray to the Lord of the harvest to force out and thrust laborers into His harvest.  Matthew 9:37-38 AMP

We are not only to pray for laborers to be thrust out into the harvest fields, but to BE the laborers that are thrust out. Some people pray that God will give them a burden for the lost, but you can’t wait until you FEEL like going to talk to people about Jesus, you have to just decide to do it because it is the right thing to do. The Lord has already asked you—in His Word—to do it. Why do you need another invitation?

But all things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to Himself [received us into favor, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him]. 19 It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor). 20 So we are Christ’s ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ’s personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God.  2 Corinthians 5:18-20 AMP

People are so hung up on titles. A title doesn’t make you any more anointed or able to do the will of God. On the other hand, if you are not called into full-time ministry, you are not entitled to just coast through life, thinking only of yourself. Not all of us are called to preach from a pulpit, but EVERY one of us is called to represent Jesus to the world. We are Christ’s ambassadors—His personal representatives.

Our ministry focus has always been on souls—to restore the backslider back into fellowship with God and to introduce the world to Jesus. In the last few years, the Lord has laid on our hearts the urgency of the hour and has called us to raise up an army of soul-winners. This is the reason we have especially focused on America and launched the Great Awakening Tour. We are called to light a fire in every city we go to. When we leave it is up to the local Church—the people not just the organization —to keep the fire burning in their city. We have been very encouraged by the people who have faithfully continued to win souls in their area!
