The Fire of God

Fire can be destructive and devastating or it can be purging and cleansing, allowing new life to spring forth. No one in their right mind wants to enter into the fires of hell. Hellfire serves no purpose other than punishment and torment. What is the alternative? The fire of God! We must allow the fire of God to burn through us, spirit, soul and body, burning out everything that is not of God, everything that holds us in bondage, and everything that contaminates our life.

We need the fire of God to burn out the junk of our lives and clear the way for new, fresh, clean growth to take place. We all need the fire of God because the new cannot come until the old is totally removed. Fire doesn't just cover the junk, or camouflage it, or move it somewhere else, but fire burns it up leaving nothing behind!

There is a work that God wants to do on the inside of you so that His plan and purpose for your life can be established and fulfilled. It doesn't matter what denomination you are, what background you came from, what your past is, or what you have done—God wants to touch you and when He does, you will never be the same gain.

Allow this message to stir you up, making you hungrier than you have ever been for the things of God. Then you will cry out like the Old African-American preacher, "Lord, dip me in the kerosene of your Spirit and set my heart ablaze that I may burn for you!"

This is a message that every Christian should hear!
