PARTNERS IN REVIVAL

I’d like you to know how faithful God has been to me. I’ve been applying Pastor Rodney’s teachings to my life and now I’m reaping the harvest—and it’s happening at such a high speed!

After Pastor Rodney’s recent visits in Finland, I’ve been experiencing marvelous things. A year ago I was diagnosed with a lymph nodule cancer. The treatments were extremely painful. I was prayed for and also received several prayer cloths. Now I have no need for treatments, because the tumor has disappeared and my test results are improving.

Financially, I was in a dead end, but then God inspired me to make pledges to RMI. As I was giving to the Lord, my financial situation changed. I am no longer in debt and I give God all the glory for it! Pastor Rodney was a man sent by God to speak a word of truth: “When you give to God, you are not going to go without.” I am a witness to this and can testify about it everywhere. Thank you for praying for me and my children. I think about you affectionately, Pastors Rodney and Adonica and the RMI team.

On the last day of campmeeting, at the 8 AM service, Nick and I were asking the Lord how much money we could sow into Good News Soweto. Pastor Rodney told us to listen to the Holy Spirit as to what we should give and as he mentioned “souls” all I heard was $5,000! Please keep in mind that Nick and I have been married almost ten years and we always agree on the amount, so I was telling God that this will be the first time that we won’t agree, as Nick usually picks a more conservative amount. Nick whispered, “$1,000” and I said, “Honey, I believe God said, ‘$5,000!’ What do you think God is asking of us?” Well, the gift of faith truly dropped on us—at this time we did not even have $500 let alone $5,000 to sow! Yet we prayed the prayer of agreement for the Lord to bring in $5,000 so we could be a part of what God is doing, since we’d be in RBI and unable to go with Pastor Rodney ourselves!

The very next day we were at home and as Nick went to get the mail he let out an enthusiastic “I can’t, I can’t believe it!” I came running thinking he stepped in the bleach, because I had mopped the garage. Instead he shouted, “We got a check for $5,000! When grandma passed on at the end of April, this money was to be given to us.”

That check was already on the way, and I truly believe the Lord wanted to see if we would step out in faith and trust HIM!!

God has changed our lives strongly through this ministry. We got married about two years ago and moved right away to Tampa to attend the River Bible Institute. The year we spent in the Bible school and serving at RMI was in many ways a time of change for both of us. We learned in a new way to love the lost and share the gospel with them. We got to see time and time again how God met the people in the streets and at their front doors and was starting to change their lives. The Holy Spirit’s anointing gave us courage to preach the gospel, and the fear of man started to subside.

After returning to Finland, we have seen the same anointing work here as well. People have been saved and delivered. Pastor Rodney’s visits to Finland have been very encouraging and important to us. It has been a privilege to serve him and the team. This ministry has been a significant factor in us starting a new church here in Finland.

Without this ministry we would not have reached that which we have now! We encourage you to sow into this ministry!

I was at the crusade in Kassel, Germany. I really was messed up by the Spirit!!!! I laughed as never before and the best was the soul winning sheet. I tried it at Kassel on the street—THE FIRST 4 PEOPLE GOT SAVED! Hallelujah! Then I drove back to Switzerland by train, God told me to speak to the people in the train—ANOTHER FOUR got SAVED! Wow! Thanks a lot for this simple tool, which is very effective!

I look forward to the evangelization on September 10-12, where we invited the whole region. I hope revival breaks out, too!

In 1995, I got involved with a militia group called the Republic of Texas. During my involvement, I became extremely rebellious toward all government representation and risked losing even my life. I was arrested once during this time, but was released after posting my own bond.

Then, in March of 1997, a friend of mine invited me to a revival being held by Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne. On the first night, I went and I observed everything that was happening. I saw people singing and dancing and laughing all over the place and I thought to myself, “Are these people really happy or are they just putting this on?” I had never seen people so happy in my entire life. During the message, I heard the preacher preach things that for the first time in my life sounded like Truth. I had never heard anyone say the things that this man was saying. All my life I had searched for the Truth, and for the first time ever, I knew I had found it.

The next day, I couldn’t wait to go to the meeting. I went mornings and evenings every day. The last day of the services, I bought just about every video and book and tape they had available, and I began to watch, read and listen to everything over and over again. I began to ask God to help me hear His voice as I had learned that I could according to His Word. Then, I began to notice that God was telling me to get out of the Republic of Texas, but I didn’t obey Him because I was so new at hearing God’s voice. But while attending another week of revival services, God made it very clear to me that I was to leave the Republic of Texas—and just in time too.

I was sitting in one of Brother Rodney’s meetings in the morning, kinda listening, kinda talking to God and telling Him that I really needed to know whether He was telling me to get out of the movement or if I was just going crazy and hearing things, when suddenly...God spoke to me so clearly that I knew that I knew that I had heard from God. He said, “That’s it. I’m drawing the line in the sand. If you’re really serious about following me then you’ll not over-step this line again. I’m telling you, get out!” That was it. I knew that it was time to obey.

Anyway, at the end of the revival services, my friend was supposed to take me back home. However, when he got there, he told me we were going out to Fort Davis for a big “POW WOW” with the Republic of Texas. I told my friend that I could not go because God had made it very clear to me that I was to get out. He got very angry at me and told me I was crazy, but I told him that I didn’t care. I knew I had heard from God and that was all that mattered.

The next day when I got home, I had lots of messages waiting for me. They were all emergency messages indicating that something had gone wrong in Fort Davis. I turned on the TV and Special Reports were on almost continuously. The FBI had come in and surrounded the mountain where the Republic of Texas group was meeting. Hostages had been taken by the Republic of Texas and there was a standoff going on. One of our friends had been shot and killed and others were on the run. At that moment, I dropped to my knees and thanked the Lord that He had saved me. I would have been there, but the Lord had spared me. Had I waited only one more day to obey the Lord, I would have been there. I was so thankful that God had saved me in more ways than one. As far as I know, those who were captured by the FBI were taken in, tried, and sentenced to life in prison for treason, the highest crime any person can be charged with in any country, but God spared my life. Praise God!
