In October of 2008, while Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne was preaching, the Lordspoke and said, “Tell the Church to speak to the sun. Tell the sun not to set just yet, for the sun is fast setting on the horizon of time. Just like Joshua commanded the sun and the moon to stand still, and it did. So the church will speak to the sun. I do not say, I will grant one more day, for there is not a day left, but I will give you one more hour of daylight and then the sun will set forever".
Jesus is coming back soon. We are living in the last of the last days. Every believer must be awakened, as there is a work that must be done. Not one believer is to be unused. This is not an hour for the believers of Jesus Christ to run and hide. This is an hour to occupy till He comes. Every believer must find their purpose and fulfill all that the LORD has called them to do.
In this series, Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne issues a three-point mandate, based upon God's Word, to the Church. This mandate is for every believer, not just for the five-fold ministry. Every born-again believer is to:
• Pray. Be a student of the Word. Memorize scripture; put the Word in you. Have a life of prayer and fasting.
• Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and win souls. Be a hearer, doer, and proclaimer of the Gospel.
