Kristin Hawes came to The River at Tampa Bay church in June of 2004. She had come from being the assistant director of Central Florida Master’s Commission for four years and was looking for a place to come to be refreshed. In August, she felt that God was not finished with her and she began the River Bible Institute. While in the River Bible Institute her ministry of helps was Hospitality. In April of 2005, she was offered the position to take over this department.
1 Peter 4:9 states, “Practice hospitality to one another. Be hospitable, be a lover of strangers, with brotherly affection for the unknown guests, the foreigners, the poor, and all others who come your way who are of Christ’s body. And in each instance; do it ungrudgingly, cordially and graciously, without complaining, but as representing HIM.”
The purpose of hospitality is to be a blessing to Pastors Rodney and Adonica, along with their guests. The Hospitality department is there for Pastors Rodney and Adonica before and after each service to accommodate them in any need or request, along with serving them lunch and dinner. During yearly and annual Campmeetings, the hospitality department serves domestic and international guests whom attend, along with our faithful partners with a special luncheon. Also, as Pastors' guests arrive at Revival Ministries International, this department makes welcome baskets to greet each guest at their hotel.
At Revival Ministries International, it is an honor and privilege to serve our pastors; Pastors Rodney and Adonica, along with their special guests.
