God’s power to deliver His people from sickness...

Are you believing God for a miracle? Are you sick in your body? Maybe you have a loved one or close friend who is ill. On Sunday, the Lord stirred in my heart to preach about God’s power to deliver His people from sickness, disease, and infirmity. In this e-mail I'm going to share several healing scriptures along with a recap from the message I preached on Sunday. I pray that the Lord touches you and quickens your body as you read this.He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.Isaiah 53:3-5 KJV
What we have to understand today, was that at the same time that Jesus carried your sins on the cross, He actually carried your sickness and disease as well. So, this is not something that has to be done. This is something that was already done, 2000 years ago.
When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: 17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. Matthew 8:16-17 KJV
Jesus bore our sicknesses and because He bore them, we identify what He did 2000 years ago. We don’t need Him to go back and hang on the cross and pay the price again. The price has already been paid. This has been made available to every single believer and it’s our choice.
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 1 Peter 2:24 KJV
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Acts 10:38 KJV
How do you even go to God to heal you, when you think it is God putting it on you to teach you a lesson? Obviously, there are lessons you can learn in the middle of a trial, in the middle of a test, in the middle of a situation. Remember this: “As for God, his way is perfect…” (Psalm 18:30). A lot of people think they need to earn their healing. You can’t earn your healing—your healing was bought and paid for, but you have to learn how to receive your healing.
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14 KJV
One of the things you will see from these scriptures is that this is past tense. It has already happened. Jesus does not have to come back and hang on another cross. He cried: "It is finished!" It was sufficient. It has been done—His Word is settled in Heaven—His Word is ye and amen—His Word does not change, and God watches over His Word to perform it. God is looking for men and women who will say: "Lord, I believe. I believe and I trust you!"
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Romans 8:11 KJV
…I am the Lord that healeth thee. Exodus 15:26 KJV
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live. Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV
The choice is ours. Every single day you have a choice to sign for the package of sickness and disease that arrives at your house. You can say excuse me, you have the wrong address. You can go back to hell where you came from. I have chosen life, therefore, me and my house, and my seed shall live.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. Psalm 42:11 KJV
That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations. Psalm 67:2 KJV
With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. Psalm 91:16 KJV
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalm 103:2-5 KJV
Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. 20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Psalm 107:19-20 KJV
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD. Psalm 118:17 KJV
This is the pure, unadulterated Word of God. This is from the pages of God’s Holy Word. This needs to be branded into our Spirit and we must mix faith with it because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Proverbs 4:20-22 KJV
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. 8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. Proverbs 3:7-8 KJV
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:29-31 KJV
For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord… Jeremiah 30:17 KJV
Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. Jeremiah 33:6 KJV
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2 KJV
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 2 KJV
And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. Revelation 22:1-4 KJV
Everywhere we travel, we meet people that have faith in certain areas. Some people can believe God for provision, but when it comes to healing, they aren’t sure about that. You have to build your faith up in every area—not just one. You have to overcome fear. Fear is the thing that will take you out.
The Lord has helped me throughout the years by enabling me to preach my way through everything. People look at us and think we don't go through things. If you know anything about us, then you know what took place on Christmas Day, 2002, when we held our daughter in our arms and she went home to be with the Lord. We had to stand in faith. We were fighting for her life and I had to preach and pray for the sick every night. There are things I don’t understand but I know God is not the problem. We can't blame God.
When situations happen that come out of the blue, you can either use that to defeat your life or you can let that become the catalyst that catapults you into exactly what God has called you to do.
I have included a link to many scriptures found throughout the Bible on healing. I want to encourage you to take these scriptures and hide them in your heart. Print it out and post it in your home. Read them out loud over your life, over your spouse, over your children.
On Sunday, I talked about a recent attack in my own life and how the Lord touched my body. In October, while Adonica and I were in Hawaii, I picked up an infection and had major discomfort. All during the Surge Conference, I preached through pain, while everybody else was getting touched in the meetings! This past week the Lord touched my body and I know this attack from hell is broken. This is my prayer for you today:
Father, I pray that every infirmity is broken right now. Every sickness and every disease, I curse it. I command every pain to go in Jesus’ Name. From the top of their head to the soles of their feet. You shall live and not die and declare the works of the Lord. Be thou made whole! In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Please pray for Adonica and I as never before as we embark on traveling to 300 cities of the world by the end of 2020. Thank you for standing with us with your prayers and financial support as we contend for another Great Spiritual Awakening in America and around the world.
Please, generously invest towards this strategic mission of winning souls, reviving the church, and mobilizing the army. The time is now! Ask the Lord what He would have you to do and be a part of seeing whole nations shaken by the power of God.
