Foundation Scriptures:
If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; 4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. 5 And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely. 6 And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land. 7 And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword. 8 And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword. 9 For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you. 10 And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.
Leviticus 26:3-10 KJV
1. Blessings of Obedience.
a. The blessings of God are exceedingly generous toward us, when we obey and serve Him; and cover every area of our lives.
When we honor Him from our heart, and in our tithes and offerings, He is faithful to fulfill all His wonderful promises to us, which include provision and protection.
b. He promises plenty of rain in due season—at the right time.
c. Our land will be fruitful—and our harvests and crops will be fruitful, abundant, great, and plentiful (Lev. 26:4-5).
d. The Lord promises to provide everything we need to live an abundant life.
e. He will prosper our businesses and all we put our hand to (Deut. 28:12).
f. His provision will not only be abundant and overflowing, but unceasing (Lev. 26:10).
2. Promise of Protection and Deliverance.
a. Psalms 50:14-15 AMPC –– Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High, 15 And call on Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall honor and glorify Me.
b. Besides the Lord’s blessings of abundant provision, He promises to provide protection from all our enemies and deliverance from bondage.
He promises to strengthen us and fight for us.
c. He promises that He will cause us to be victorious over our enemies.
d. It is a spiritual battle, and the devil is our adversary.
e. Sickness, disease, sin, lack, and poverty are our enemies.
f. He promised that He would give us peace (Lev. 26:6).
g. That we would dwell safely and be free from fear.
h. And that our land and property would not be destroyed.
i. The Lord promises that, with His help, we will be able to gain victory over any enemy; even those who seem to be much bigger or more numerous than ourselves (Lev. 26:7-8).
j. Deuteronomy 28:7 NKJV –– The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.
k. The Lord will defeat and scatter every enemy who dares to try to attack you or your family.
3. The Lord Will Rebuke the Devourer.
a. Malachi 3:10-11 KJV –– Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. 11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.
b. The Lord will rebuke the devourer on behalf of the faithful tither.
c. The devourer refers to insects and plagues—things that are out of our control.
d. The Lord promises to protect us from anything that comes to steal or destroy our health or our property.
e. When the enemy tries to come against us, we can stand on God’s promise to us and experience His protection and deliverance.
4. The Lord Will Restore What was Stolen.
a. Joel 2:24-26 KJV –– And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil. 25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. 26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
b. If we honor the Lord, He promises to restore to us whatever the enemy stole from us in the past.
5. With His Help You Will Prevail.
a. Psalms 37:23-26 KJV –– The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand. 25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. 26 He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.
b. When God is with you, any setbacks are only temporary.
c. You can trust Him to pick you up, and hold you up, and bring you through victoriously.
