Living in the Supernatural

Foundation Scriptures:
There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, 2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway. 3 He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. 4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. 5 And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter: 6 He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do. 7 And when the angel which spake unto Cornelius was departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout soldier of them that waited on him continually; 8 And when he had declared all these things unto them, he sent them to Joppa. Acts 10:1-8 KJV
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? Hebrews 1:14 KJV
Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. 2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; 3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; 4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? Hebrews 2:1-4 KJV
1. Divine Guidance.
a. An angel of God — direction.
b. An angel brought a message to Cornelius with directions to call for Peter and also where to find him.
c. Angel — Budapest, Hungary.
d. There is a higher realm for the Church.
e. A supernatural realm.
f. The ministry of angels.
g. Psalm 91:11 AMPC — For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].
h. How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation?
2. The Ministry of Angels.
a. This is Book of Acts.
b. We should not settle for anything less.
c. God sends angels to you and gives them the responsibility to protect you.
d. Angels accompany you.
e. Angels defend you.
f. Angels preserve you.
g. Amplified Bible, Classic Edition: in all your ways of obedience and service.
3. Another Comforter.
a Jesus promised He would send us another Comforter.
b. John 14:26 AMPC — But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.
c. John 16:13-15 AMPC — But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future]. 14 He will honor and glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you. 15 Everything that the Father has is Mine. That is what I meant when I said that He [the Spirit] will take the things that are Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you.
d. The Helper is here to help.
e. The angels are here to help.
f. The Holy Spirit reveals — declares, discloses, transmits — the things of God to you.
g. The Holy Spirit teaches you, leads you into the truth, and always reminds you of what God’s Word says.
h. Another word for angel is “messenger.”
i. God uses angels to deliver specific messages to specific people, as He wills.
j. Angels are ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for you — the child of God (Hebrews 1:14).
k. Angels are commissioned by God to work on your behalf.
l. Hebrews 2:1 AMPC — Since all this is true, we ought to pay much closer attention than ever to the truths that we have heard, lest in any way we drift past [them] and slip away.
m. How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation? (Hebrews 2:3)
4. Ask the Holy Spirit to Help You Today.
a. Cry out for help from the Helper.
b. Realize that these things have been made available to every believer in order to live a supernatural life.
c. Talk the language of the Holy Spirit.
d. Supernatural guidance is yours.
e. You will hear things others don’t hear.
f. You will see things others don’t see.
g. You will know things others don’t know.
h. Supernatural life!
